What age groups are eligible to try out for ETC AAU teams?
Boys and girls in grades 5th-11th are eligible to participate in the AAU tryouts.
What is the selection process for the AAU teams?
Our coaching staff evaluates athletes based on their skills, athleticism, teamwork, and coachability. After tryouts, selected players will receive an email invitation to join the team, along with further instructions for registration and team fees.
What is included in the ETC AAU program fee?
The program fee includes uniforms, practice facilities, tournament entry fees, and coaching. Additional costs, such as travel expenses, may apply for out-of-town tournaments. Detailed fee information will be provided to selected athletes.
What should athletes bring to the tryouts?
Athletes should come dressed in appropriate basketball attire, including sneakers. They should also bring a water bottle, and any necessary personal items.
How often do AAU teams practice and compete?
Teams typically practice twice a week, with practices scheduled in the evenings. Competitions, including local, regional, and national tournaments, occur on weekends. The exact schedule will be provided once the teams are formed.
